Dr. Chris Herring, DVM
Dr. Chris Herring is a 1992 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation he returned to Huntsville gaining valuable experience as an associate veterinarian. In 1998 he purchased Hampton Cove Animal Hospital. Since that time, he has worked hard to keep HCAH on the cutting edge of veterinary medicine. He continues to inspire our team to provide each pet with as long and happy a life as possible. His veterinary interests include dermatology, internal medicine, advanced dentistry and preventative medicine. He is also certified in Vet-Stem Regenerative Cell Therapy. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and following his 3 children around to their many activities. Chris and Susie's four legged children are Opie, Salem, Jasmine and Vino.
Dr. Laura Serio, DVM
Dr. Laura Serio is a 2006 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to veterinary school, she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Psychology from Birmingham-Southern College. Her veterinary interests include internal medicine, surgery, ultrasound and preventative medicine. She is currently a member of the AVMA and outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Serio enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends. She shares her home with her Jack Russell Terrier J.D. and her kitties Juji and Annie.
Dr. Erin Brown, DVM
Dr. Erin Brown is a 2010 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine (War Eagle!!!). Prior to veterinary school, she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Her veterinary interests include emergency and critical care, dermatology, internal medicine, advanced dentistry, exotic pets and surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, Pure Barre, jogging outside, watching old movies and listening to jazz music on the porch with her husband Ryan. Erin and Ryan have two amazing pups named Twinkey and Lulu, and two oversized cats named Tater Tot and Morris.
