Pets hold a very important place in our lives – we feed, nurture, and lavish attention on them. Our highly qualified kennel attendants do the same when you can't be there. We work hard to earn your pet's trust and make each visit a positive experience. We offer several boarding options to give your best friend a fun filled visit.
All of our guests receive spacious, climate controlled accomodations. You are welcome to bring your pet's food, bedding, toys or treats from home. We ask that all food be brought in a small, resealable container such as a zip top bag. All possessions will be labeled with your pet's name. We will gladly administer any medications your pet needs while you are away. We can typically accommodate any special needs or requests. We also offer a complimentary Sunday Afternoon Pick Up from 5:00-5:15 pm. This is a scheduled service and boarding will need to be pre-paid since our office will be closed.
Dog Boarding
Canine guests enjoy two to three walks per day in one of our four play yards. They are served EN Veterinary Diet or their diet brought from home at breakfast and dinner and have fresh water provided at all times. A VIP upgrade includes a comfy bed, treats and a 15 minute playtime. Playtime can be filled with play, brushing, petting or all the above. For the ultimate in boarding you can add Dog DayCare Monday through Friday to either Standard or VIP boarding. During DayCare your dog will have a blast playing with other dogs all day while learning good social skills, working on basic manners and making new friends. Check out www.facebook.com/covepets to see pics of our groups at play.
Canine Health Requirements:
Boarding is for healthy pets. If your pet has an illness, especially a contagious one, he/she may not be a candidate, please call ahead to discuss options. All dogs over 6 months of age must be neutered to participate in Interactive VIP or DayCare. To protect your dog from disease, he or she must be current on the following vaccinations prior to admittance.
Bordetella*, Rabies, DA2PP (Distemper, Adenovirus Type 2, Parainfluenza, Parvo)
*Bordetella must have been given within the last 6 months to be boarded. This vaccine protects against Infectious Tracheobronchitis, a highly contagious respiratory disease that can easily lead to pneumonia. The H3N8 vaccination is preferred and highly recommended for social dogs since dogs do not have any natural immunity to the virus but is not required.
Cat Boarding
Feline guests enjoy two-level condos with a wildlife view. They are served Science Diet Adult or their diet brought from home twice daily and have fresh water provided at all times. A VIP upgrade includes a comfy bed, treats and a 15 minute one-on-one playtime. Playtimes can be filled with play, brushing, petting or all the above.
